So I am working on plans for goals..mainly for two because I actually see that it is possible and two because I want to reward myself for fun.  :-)

I used to always have a goal with food but since learned that was not the right thing to do...DUH! So now I am thinking of completely childish things that I want to do for myself that the normal woman can and I never have....some are super stupid but hey...might as well treat yourself for a change!

Some that I have thought of so far...with no real clue where to put them....
  • $1000 for new clothes
  • Photo shoot of new me
  • Beach vacation (this one is for when I can wear a bikini and not make everyone go blind)
  • Tan in a tanning bed (always afraid to put my fat ass in there)..haha
  • go public (keeping this social media quiet for a while)
  • massage
  • get a makeover
  • night out with the girls
  • mommies day out - do something all by myself.

Any other ideas??

  1. getting on a plane knowing that most of the people on there are hoping to heaven you aren't going to sit next to them....

congrats on your upcoming surgery, nice blog!

  2. Hey! Lap band gal sent me over! Excited to follow your journey.

  3. Hi There, new follower here LBG sent me over. Looking forward to getting to know you....

  4. New follower here...LBG sent me over :) So excited for you!!

  5. I like TZs because I do hope I will travel more. I hope to be less self-conscious when meeting new people. I also want to feel know, have a few muscles and cardio stamina. Going to Disney this spring prior to being banded and I am sure I will feel huge and out of shape as usual. One good thing is I know I will be that much more committed to doing the surgery after that trip! Good luck!!!! (BTW, I was sent over by Lap Band Girl, check me out at Bandpipes)

  6. Hey lady! LBG sent me over to check you out! Come check out mine at I understand you completely. I was banded on 12/5/11 at 372 lbs and I'm 5'4! I'm just a hair away from losing 50 lbs in 12 weeks! I'm shooting for taking my 3 adorable kids to Disney World next Feb. and 1. Not feeling so out of place on the plane 2. Getting on all the rides with my kids 3. Being able to walk all over those parks and not being completely worn out! Good luck with your journey, we are all here for you! Lori

  7. Hi Victoria, LBG sent me over, looking forward to getting to know you!

  8. Welcome to band land and the liquid diet phase. That was the hardest part for me. Your surgery will be here before you know it.

I wanted to be comfortable being in pictures. When I was heavier I ran from the camera and rarely was I in pix with my family. I also want to feel more comfortable seeing people I haven't seen in awhile. I'm always so focused on my weight, instead of enjoying their company.

Good luck to you and I'm looking forward to following your journey!

  9. I like your ideas! I was banded a month ago, and I am having a spa day with an hour long oil massage next saturday and I too am desperate for a beach vacation once the blubber is gone. Good luck to you!
