Goals

So I am working on plans for goals..mainly for two reasons...one because I actually see that it is possible and two because I want to reward myself for fun.  :-)

I used to always have a goal with food but since learned that was not the right thing to do...DUH! So now I am thinking of completely childish things that I want to do for myself that the normal woman can and I never have....some are super stupid but hey...might as well treat yourself for a change!

Some that I have thought of so far...with no real clue where to put them....
  • $1000 for new clothes
  • Photo shoot of new me
  • Beach vacation (this one is for when I can wear a bikini and not make everyone go blind)
  • Tan in a tanning bed (always afraid to put my fat ass in there)..haha
  • go public (keeping this social media quiet for a while)
  • massage
  • get a makeover
  • night out with the girls
  • mommies day out - do something all by myself.
  •

Any other ideas??

  5. I like TZs because I do hope I will travel more. I hope to be less self-conscious when meeting new people. I also want to feel strong...you know, have a few muscles and cardio stamina. Going to Disney this spring prior to being banded and I am sure I will feel huge and out of shape as usual. One good thing is I know I will be that much more committed to doing the surgery after that trip! Good luck!!!! (BTW, I was sent over by Lap Band Girl, check me out at Bandpipes)

Getting on all the rides with my kids 3. Being able to walk all over those parks and not being completely worn out! Good luck with your journey, we are all here for you! Lori

  8. Welcome to band land and the liquid diet phase. That was the hardest part for me. Your surgery will be here before you know it.

I wanted to be comfortable being in pictures. When I was heavier I ran from the camera and rarely was I in pix with my family. I also want to feel more comfortable seeing people I haven't seen in awhile. I'm always so focused on my weight, instead of enjoying their company.

Good luck to you and I'm looking forward to following your journey!
